Back in the day, many farmers provided jobs during summer vacation for teens. These jobs consisted of various tasks on and around farms, fields, and homes. Parents and teens welcomed these jobs because it provided cash for school clothes, but more importantly, these jobs taught basic life skills. Over the years, farm jobs for teens have dwindled drastically. The goal of Hubb’s Basic Life Skills Day Camp on the Farm is to share important life skills by providing a unique, challenging, and rewarding experience, and promote personal growth and development.
