From goat yoga and barn quilt classes in the mountains, to rescued-animal tours in the Piedmont and sunflower picking by the coast. Plus, the new Cheers! Trail in and around Hendersonville for farm-based beverage tastings.

Footprints in the Garden
a historic farm that has been a cornerstone of agriculture in the Mount Olive community for over 142 years. Join them on June 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with VIP activities extending until 9:00 PM.

Hosted at Sunshine Lavender Farm in Hurdle Mills, the June Bloom Lavender Festival offers visitors the chance to experience lavender at peak season.
Dates & Time: June 14–15, 2025 | 9 AM–4 PM
What to Expect:
A self-guided experience through blooming lavender fields
Lavender products grown and made on-site
Workshops and hands-on activities (e.g. sachet making, culinary demos)
Local food, music, and seasonal farm goods
Admission: $10–$60 depending on the experience selected. Advance tickets recommended due to limited capacity.

Held in downtown Burgaw, the draws thousands each year to celebrate one of the state’s sweetest crops.

Saturday events: 5K run, Tour de Blueberry bike ride, car and truck show, pie-eating contest, foam party, and more
